Executive Management



Chief Executive Officer

As the co-founder and CEO of Stability Biologics, Brian Martin is responsible for running all aspects of the business. Brian has a proven executive management track record with over 25 years of business experience driving strategy and growth. Prior to Stability Biologics, Brian has worked in leadership roles at RBC Dominion Securities, Sears Canada and Shell. Brian has earned a B.Sc. in Physics, an M.Sc. in Geophysics and his Masters of Business Administration degrees.




Tom Johnston co-founded Stability Biologics in 2010 and has overseen all aspects of product introduction and sales. Tom’s extensive sales experience has resulted in exponential growth for the company as he has overseen annual sales growth from $1MM to $24.7 MM. Prior to joining Stability Biologics, Tom worked as a National Sales Director for a multi-national tissue intermediary and spine implant company. Holding a B.S. in Microbiology and 14 years of experience leading sales force development through sales and surgeon relationships.

Chief Operating Officer

Terry is an experienced professional with extensive qualifications in tissue banking, medical device (class I/II/III), biologics, and laboratory (CLIA/GLP).  He has held executive positions as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Quality & Regulatory, Vice President of Quality, Tissue Bank Director, Director of Quality Assurance and Director of Quality Control in several publicly-traded and private medical device and tissue bank facilities. Terry was previously contracted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Director to develop the first U.S. government quality management program for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) NCI caHUB program. Terry was also an inspector for the American Association of Tissue Banks inspecting tissue banks domestically and internationally and was also an investigator and inspector for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration inspecting tissue banks, eye banks, organ procurement agencies, laboratories and healthcare facilities. Terry has directed multi-facility operations with a proven track record of increasing efficiency and productivity while ensuring strict compliance.  He  has received numerous high-level industry certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing, Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS), U.S. Dept of Health & Human Services CLIA Surveyor, U.S. Dept of Health & Human Services Health Facility Surveyor, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, ISO 9001 Auditor and ISO 13485 Lead Auditor



Executive Vice President

David brings over 10 years’ experience in spine, orthopedics, and biologics to Stability. He was one of the first employees of Stability filling various crucial roles in the company’s growth before being promoted to his current position. Prior to joining our organization, David ran his own spine/ortho distribution company. David is proficient in hospital negotiations, marketing, materials procurement, and account penetration. He has a B.S. in Communications.
